Because of an issue in the report engine memory management code, certain reports may not release memory correctly when the operating system is under high memory load. SQL Server 2008 Reporting Services introduced additional memory management capabilities to the report server to handle very large reports and large reports that run at the same time. Or, when you run more than one large report at the same time, and the reports require more memory than is available to the report server, you receive the error message, and one or more reports cannot run.
